The infrared sauna at Hartwell Therapy and Wellness is one of my favourite places to be in the cold, rainy Vancouver season. Appointment times are 1 hour which provides plenty of time to enjoy the private sauna. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. The sauna is in a private room, always clean, with fresh towels and wipes provided. Has a light dimmer for the room too. There is bluetooth so you can listen to a podcast, healing frequencies or meditations while you sauna. The pricing is reasonable and they often offer deals with other complimentary modalities provided such as registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, reflexology and naturopathic medicine. If you haven’t tried infrared sauna, nows the time with Hartwell!

This Hartwell Therapy location is great because it has all the same commodities as the original one, but with a different layout (and Starbucks right next door). The staff is just as lovely as the one on Main Street and the services offered come with the same quality and expertise. I particularly like the bright decor, the motion activated lights and how accommodating both the therapists and front desk staff are. A true gem in the SW Marine Drive area.
