Internal exams are never mandatory. They can be helpful for assessment and treatment, but we will only proceed with your full understanding and consent.

Most people can begin postpartum pelvic floor physiotherapy around 6 weeks after delivery, depending on their recovery. We’re happy to assess and guide you safely.

Most insurance providers do not require a doctor’s note to see a physiotherapist, however we recommend you to double check with your insurance provider first.
