Bio

Laura is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College in 2018, completing over 3,200 hours of diverse, hands-on training. During the two-year program, she gained experience in a wide range of clinical and community settings, including BC Cancer, UBC Palliative Care, ICORD, West Vancouver Seniors’ Centre, and Harbour Dance Centre.

Through these experiences, Laura developed a strong interest in treating patients with conditions such as motor vehicle accident injuries, rotator cuff pathologies, overuse injuries, arthritis, pre- and post-natal concerns, spinal cord injuries, tendinopathy, and neuromuscular pain.

Laura’s approach to treatment focuses on both therapeutic results and relaxation. She emphasizes thorough assessment and tailors each session to her patients’ primary concerns, using techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, and Swedish massage when applicable.

Fluent in both Korean and English, Laura also enjoys learning new languages—most recently, German. Outside of her practice, she loves exploring the natural beauty of BC, cooking, hiking, working out, and playing the piano.
