What is Massage Therapy?
A RMT is a health professional who has completed 2-3 years program in an accredited school of Massage Therapy and passed a Board exam before they were allowed to start practicing. Their main focus is in the manipulation of soft tissues, such as joints, muscles and ligaments, in order to alleviate any discomforts.

*Registered Massage Therapy is covered by most Extended Health Care Plans in BC and simply requires a receipt of treatment which will include the therapist’s registration number.
