FAQ

What do I need to bring for my first appointment?

We kindly ask our first timers to arrive 15 minutes prior to treatment so you have plenty of time to fill out the intake form and direct billing form. With that said, it is recommended that you bring your care card and your extended medical health insurance information.

What to expect for my first appointment?

The first appointment is when our practitioners will talk to you about your medical history and run the assessments they judge necessary for your particular case in order to determine what the best course of action will be for your case. That usually takes 10-15 minutes, the remainder of your treatment time will be on the table. The practitioner may save the last 5 minutes for a reassessment or to teach you a stretch/exercise that may help your discomfort. Please feel free to ask our practitioners for tips and pointers any time!

Can I see different practitioners or should I always see the same person?

This is entirely up to you! The practitioners work off of each others notes, therefore treatment will be picked up from where it was left off, so if for some reason your schedule doesn’t work with the RMT you have seen in the past then we do encourage our patients to try out a different practitioner. Also, they all have different styles so you might want to try a different approach (don’t worry, they won’t feel betrayed ha ha), but if you simply loved that one RMT, we will do our best to fix you up! Same thing applies to all of our services.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, we direct bill to most major extended medical health insurance companies:

Can you let me know when I run out of my benefits?

Unfortunately, we do not have access to that information. We can only see how much is covered for your treatment on the appointment that we submit the claim for.

Do I need a Doctor’s referral for treatment?
