Chris found the benefits of massage after years of work in a busy tire shop to treat low back and shoulder pain. This led him to completing 2 years of a kinesiology degree before switching programs and graduating with his Registered Massage Therapy diploma at Langara College in 2018.
With 11 years of previous experience in the tire industry, he learned the importance of self-care and proper biomechanics to reduce the consequences of repetitive motions and postural dysfunction throughout the workday. Sports have also been a continued part of Chris’ life, so he takes pride in his skillset to help others return to their activities and sports of various levels.
Chris incorporates various techniques tailored to each patient throughout his treatments, such as Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and stretching to help them achieve their treatment goals.
In his free time, you can find Chris playing hockey, snowboarding, weight lifting, and travelling.
